Our Story

Founded in 1971, the Arts Foundation for Tucson and Southern Arizona began as the Tucson Council on the Arts, evolving into the Tucson Pima Arts Council in 1984. In 2016, it was renamed to better reflect its mission of supporting the arts across Southern Arizona, including tribal lands.
