Our Story

Arts for LA leads communities, artists, and organizations to advocate for an equitable, healthy, and vibrant Los Angeles region through the arts. As the region's only unified voice for the arts, it builds coalitions to protect and promote creative career pathways.

Impact

With over $100 million secured in relief funding for arts practitioners and organizations, Arts for LA has co-sponsored the California Creative Workforce Act of 2021, creating living wage jobs for underrepresented workers. The organization also advocated for the Los Angeles County Public Art in Private Development Ordinance, expanding arts funding for greater equity.
