Established in 1970, the Arts Council of Tuscaloosa is dedicated to promoting and encouraging the arts and humanities in Tuscaloosa County. Serving as the umbrella organization for 50 member organizations, it offers educational programs and manages the historic Bama Theatre and the Dinah Washington Cultural Arts Center.
