Founded in 2005 by Tim Mayer, Artists for the Humanities began with a mission to honor fallen military personnel through art. The organization evolved to provide vital mental health support and life coaching for veterans, helping them navigate the challenges of reintegration into civilian life. With over 21 years of dedicated service, A4TH has adapted its programs to meet the unique needs of veterans and their families.
Artists for the Humanities has positively impacted the lives of over 6,000 veterans, conducting more than 800 group sessions focused on expressive art therapy. This approach has proven effective in addressing issues such as PTSD, substance abuse, and homelessness.
