Our Story

In the late 1990s, local gallery owners Chris Trout and Grace Songolo envisioned Idyllwild, California, as a vibrant art town. Despite the presence of the renowned Idyllwild Academy of Arts, there was a lack of local organizations to support the arts. Thus, the Art Alliance of Idyllwild (AAI) was born, becoming a cornerstone of artistic excellence and helping Idyllwild earn recognition as one of the top 100 art towns in America.

Impact

In 2022, AAI granted over $25,000 to fund art-related activities, showcasing a strong commitment to supporting local artists and the arts community.
