Arose Foundation was founded by BriElle Bryson in memory of her mother, Alicia R. Pruitt. Growing up in a low-income community, Alicia instilled in BriElle the belief that education and perseverance can overcome any obstacle. Arose is dedicated to helping youth envision a world beyond their neighborhoods, nurturing the next generation of leaders.
Since its inception, Arose has served over 2,300 youth and awarded $181,500 in scholarships to 34 scholars, empowering Black and Brown students from trauma-prone communities to achieve post-secondary success.
