Our Story
The Armenian Women’s Welfare Association was founded in 1915 in Boston, Massachusetts, by ten immigrant Armenian women dedicated to promoting the well-being of the Armenian community. Initially focused on aiding orphans during WWI, AWWA has evolved to provide essential services for elders both locally and internationally.
Impact
AWWA has successfully supported over 300 elders in the Artsakh region through its Hanganak Elder Program, offering vital medical care, food, and social support.
