Our Story

Founded in 1983 by Michael Aureli and Dee Brazil-Dale, Arkansas Hospice began with a mission to provide dignified end-of-life care for patients facing life-limiting illnesses. Since its incorporation in 1992, it has grown to become the largest non-profit hospice organization in Arkansas, serving over 40 counties through 13 locations.

Impact

Arkansas Hospice has pioneered quality end-of-life care, opening the first hospice inpatient center in the state in 2000 and serving Arkansas's first pediatric concurrent care patient in 2013. The organization has earned accolades such as Non-Profit Organization of the Year, reflecting its commitment to compassionate care.
