Our Story

Founded in 1983 by Michael Aureli and Dee Brazil-Dale, Arkansas Hospice began with a mission to provide compassionate care for individuals facing life-limiting illnesses. Incorporated in 1992, it has grown to become the largest non-profit hospice organization in Arkansas, with 13 locations serving over 40 counties. The establishment of the first inpatient hospice facility in 2000 marked a significant milestone in improving end-of-life care in the state.
