Our Story
The Ark-La-Tex Amateur Hockey Association (ALTAHA) is a dedicated non-profit organization formed to promote the sport of hockey among the youth in the Ark-La-Tex region. Established in 1997 alongside the arrival of the Shreveport Mudbugs, ALTAHA has evolved over the years, officially adopting its current name in 2012 to reflect its diverse membership. With over 180 players ranging from ages 4 to over 63, ALTAHA continues to foster a love for hockey, drawing participants from as far as two hours away.
