Our Story

Founded in 2012, Arizona Theatre Matters is dedicated to creating inclusive and accessible theatre that resonates with diverse audiences. With a strong commitment to amplifying the voices of BIPOC, LGBTQI+, artists with disabilities, and elder women, ATM believes that every voice is essential in a just and civil society. The organization’s staff, ensemble, and board reflect this commitment, showcasing a majority of LGBTQI+, BIPOC, and persons with disabilities. In response to the challenges posed by the pandemic, ATM expanded its outreach efforts by producing engaging content on its YouTube channel, ensuring that the work remains accessible to all.
