Our Story

Established in 2013, Arizona Legal Women and Youth Services (ALWAYS) was created to address the urgent needs of young people facing physical violence, sexual assault, exploitation, homelessness, and family separation. In Arizona, many young individuals lack the necessary resources to overcome these challenges. While various organizations focus on housing and basic needs, ALWAYS stands out as the only organization dedicated to providing essential legal assistance, empowering vulnerable youth to transition from survival to stability.

Impact

ALWAYS opens doors to justice and opportunity by offering no-cost legal services to survivors of human trafficking and young people affected by homelessness, abuse, and the foster care system. With 70% of clients being women or girls, the organization plays a crucial role in transforming lives.
