Our Story

The Arizona Junior Rodeo Association was established in 1965, with its first finals held in 1967 at the Arizona State Fair Grounds, Veterans Memorial Coliseum. This organization is dedicated to promoting the sport of rodeo among junior kids, fostering interest in the sport, and building relationships among participants and organizations.

Impact

The AJRA aims to positively influence the lives of numerous children who train, compete, and give their all in rodeo, providing them with opportunities for awards and recognition.
