Our Story
Founded in 1983 by seven dedicated Armenian professionals in Rhode Island, the Ararat Association of Rhode Island was established to foster social, cultural, and professional connections within the local Armenian community. The inaugural golf tournament in 1988 marked a significant milestone, promoting sportsmanship and fellowship while generating funds to support various local Armenian organizations. Over the past 38 years, the association has proudly donated over $500,000 to more than 50 organizations, making a lasting impact on the community.
