Our Story

The Arab American Action Network (AAAN) was established in 1995 to create a coherent agenda for the Arab-American community in Chicago. Evolving from the Arab Community Center and the Union of Palestinian Women’s Association, AAAN addresses the needs of Arab immigrants by providing essential social services and fostering community collaboration.

Impact

AAAN has successfully implemented programs such as after-school initiatives, domestic violence support, and ESL courses, advocating for the rights of Arab Americans, particularly in the face of post-9/11 discrimination.
