The Ara Parseghian Medical Research Foundation is committed to funding innovative medical research aimed at finding a treatment for Niemann-Pick Type C (NP-C) disease. Established in honor of beloved Notre Dame Football Coach Ara Parseghian, the foundation was created in response to the heartbreaking diagnosis of his three grandchildren with NP-C in 1994. Despite the loss of his grandchildren, the Parseghian family, along with thousands of dedicated volunteers, continues to drive research forward.
