The Applied Theatre Center was founded in March 2011, inspired by a family's inquiry about using theatre to support their son with autism. Under the leadership of Dr. Dale Savidge, a registered Drama Therapist, the ATC has developed ongoing theatre activities for diverse groups, including young adults with autism and the homeless community.
Through applied theatre, the ATC addresses critical human needs, providing therapeutic and social engagement opportunities for marginalized populations in Greenville.
