Our Story

APPLES for Children, Inc. began as the Western Maryland Child Care Resource Center in 1991, serving Garrett, Allegany, and Washington Counties. Initially managed by Head Start of Washington County, it became an independent nonprofit in 2002. With over 30 years of dedicated service, APPLES for Children continues to support early care and education programs, ensuring safe and nurturing environments for children.
