Anuvia Prevention and Recovery Center
EIN: 56-0746601 · Charlotte, NC
Our Story
The roots of Anuvia began in 1957 when the State of North Carolina mandated ABC Boards to allocate a portion of profits to alcohol rehabilitation and education. A dedicated group of citizens established an agency to raise public awareness about alcoholism. In 1971, a new drug rehab facility was completed, housing both the Charlotte Council on Alcoholism and The Randolph Clinic. These organizations merged in 1994 to form the Chemical Dependency Center, which was later renamed Anuvia Prevention and Recovery Center to reflect the comprehensive services offered.
