Our Story

The Anti-Violence Partnership of Philadelphia (AVP) was established in 1983 to combat the cycle of violence in the community. With a commitment to providing comprehensive support and counseling services, AVP has helped countless victims and their families rebuild their lives after experiencing violence. Over the years, the organization has expanded its reach, launching programs like the Counseling Center in 1996 and the Youth Violence Outreach initiative in 2016.
