Founded in 2005 by Barbara Ward-Windgassen, Anthem Pets is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit rescue organization dedicated to rescuing homeless and abandoned dogs and cats. Witnessing the suffering of these animals ignited a passion to make a difference. With the help of volunteers, foster homes, local veterinarians, and trainers, Anthem Pets provides essential veterinary care and finds loving forever homes for hundreds of animals each year.
In 2023, Anthem Pets saved 410 pets and successfully adopted out 399 of them, showcasing a profound impact in the community.
