Ensuring Safe And Stable Homes For Children

Our Story

In 1993, local attorneys recognized the urgent need for a Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) program in Anne Arundel County. With support from the local Bar Association, the Circuit Court, and the Department of Social Services, Anne Arundel County CASA, Inc. was established. Since July 1997, AACCASA has been dedicated to serving children in foster care, relying on a small staff and the commitment of over 500 exceptional volunteers.

Impact

AACCASA serves 68% of the children in foster care in Anne Arundel County, ensuring that 32 children find safe, loving, and permanent homes. CASA children benefit from more court-ordered services, effectively utilizing service dollars.
