Our Story

Founded by Nupur Panjabi in early 2021 during the COVID-19 pandemic, Anna Sudha Community Kitchen emerged to combat food insecurity in Northern Virginia. What began as a home kitchen initiative has blossomed into a community-driven effort, now operating from a commercial kitchen and serving thousands of meals each month.

Impact

Every month, Anna Sudha provides over 6,000 free meals to shelters, totaling over 80,000 meals donated in 2023, thanks to the dedication of more than 300 volunteers.
