EIN: 35-2083660 · Jeffersonville, IN
Our Story
Founded in 1999, the Animal Protection Association is an all-volunteer, no-kill rescue dedicated to saving homeless cats and kittens. With a passionate team of volunteers, APA provides care and finds loving homes for abandoned and mistreated felines.
Our Impact
Each year, APA rescues and finds homes for over 200 cats and kittens, ensuring that no healthy animals are ever euthanized. The organization provides essential veterinary care, food, and shelter, making a significant difference in the Southern Indiana and Louisville area.
Why Donate?
Donations are crucial for covering the annual expenses of approximately $160,000, primarily for veterinary care, food, and shelter-related costs. With veterinary care costing around $180 per kitten, every contribution helps ensure that APA can continue its mission of rescuing and caring for forgotten cats and kittens.
