Our Story
Animals Lives Matter of East Texas is a dedicated nonprofit organization based in Livingston, Texas. Unlike typical shelters, this organization serves as a holding pen for Polk County, rescuing dogs that are often overlooked—those whose time is up at other shelters, those abandoned on the streets, or those in need of urgent medical care. With the help of generous donations and committed volunteers, the organization works tirelessly to find foster homes or rescues for these animals, ensuring they receive the love and care they deserve.
