Our Story
Founded in March 1995 by a dedicated group of six volunteers, Animals Best Friends has grown significantly over the years. By July 2004, the organization proudly acquired a veterinary office to enhance its rescue efforts. Operating as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit in Missouri, ABF is committed to the welfare of shelter animals.
Our Impact
Animals Best Friends aims to improve the lives of shelter animals through education and advocacy. The organization focuses on maximizing adoptions and minimizing euthanizations, while raising public awareness about companion animal overpopulation.
