Our Story
Animal Lives Matter Always (ALMA) was founded by lifelong friends Erin Riley-Carrasco and Suzie Williamson, who share a deep passion for animal advocacy. Suzie initiated a Spay and Neuter Campaign in Vizcaino, Mexico, collaborating with veterinarians to spay and neuter over 6,000 dogs. Erin, an animal activist since age 19, has dedicated 30 years to dog rescue, successfully advocating for nine city ordinances in Southern California that banned puppy mill pet stores. Together, they lead a team of devoted volunteers and foster families, striving to make a significant impact on the lives of homeless animals.
