Our Story
Animal Friends of North Central West Virginia was founded by a compassionate group of friends inspired by a golden retriever/black lab mix named Lucky. This organization was established to provide a safe haven for unwanted, abandoned, and abused animals, ensuring that no animal faces unwarranted euthanasia.
Our Impact
Since 1999, AFNCWV has rescued and placed over 7,000 animals, offering them refuge, care, and love without the threat of euthanasia.
