Our Story

Animal Ark began as a dream of founders Aaron and Diana Hiibel, who established a sanctuary for injured and non-releasable wildlife in Red Rock, Nevada. Over the years, the sanctuary has expanded to include exotic species, focusing on wildlife education and environmental stewardship.

Impact

As a fully accredited ZAA facility, Animal Ark has successfully released native birds of prey and has cared for over 50 unique permanent animal residents since opening. The sanctuary also raises and donates over $5,000 annually to wildlife conservation programs.
