The Angelus

Our Story

The Angelus was founded in 1979 in St. Petersburg, Florida, to provide a loving home for children with severe disabilities. Over the years, it has grown into a nonprofit organization dedicated to serving adults with disabilities, expanding its facilities and programs to meet the needs of the community.

Impact

Currently, The Angelus provides a safe and comfortable home for 39 individuals in group homes and 45 in its adult day program, offering 24/7 care and a variety of programs to enhance their quality of life.
