Our Story

Founded in 2009 by passionate dog lovers LuAnn Farrell and Valerie Addington, Angels Among Us Pet Rescue emerged from a deep concern for the plight of homeless pets in Georgia. With a history of volunteering and working with animals, they recognized the urgent need to address the issues facing shelters, including unaltered pets, abuse, and overcrowding. This led to the establishment of a nonprofit organization committed to rescuing dogs and cats throughout the greater Atlanta area.
