Angels Against Abuse

Our Story

Angels Against Abuse was founded by a dedicated group of visionaries who recognized the urgent need to support children who have been forcibly removed from their homes due to abuse. These children often enter the foster care system with little more than the clothes on their backs, facing a traumatic transition. The organization aims to provide essential goods and services that are not covered by the foster care system, helping to ease their trauma and create traditional childhood experiences in non-traditional living conditions.

Impact

The First Five Program has achieved an impressive success rate of 98%, garnering attention from funders and allowing expansion into additional Pre-K schools, such as Kings Highway Elementary in Clearwater. This initiative has prevented 298 children from entering the foster care system, demonstrating a significant positive ripple effect on the community and reducing the costs associated with child welfare.
