Our Story

The Andréa Rizzo Foundation was established in memory of Andréa Rizzo, a vibrant young woman who survived childhood cancer but tragically lost her life to a drunk driver at the age of twenty-four. Andréa dreamed of becoming a dance therapist, aiming to share the joy of dance with children battling cancer and disabilities. With the support of generous donors, her dream has transformed into reality through the Foundation's unique programs.

Impact

Dedicated to fostering Andréa’s vision, the Foundation provides grants that fund dance/movement therapy programs, known as Dréa’s Dream, for children with cancer and special needs across the United States. These programs are led by registered Dance/Movement Therapists, ensuring that every child receives the highest quality of care and support.
