Andean Health & Development (AHD) was founded in 1997 by Dr. David Gaus to deliver quality health care services to underserved populations in rural Ecuador. By training local health care providers and establishing community-operated health facilities, AHD has created a sustainable model that empowers Ecuadorians to take charge of their health.
