Our Story

AMSHERA was founded by Angie Kraus in response to the Afghan refugee crisis following the US withdrawal from Afghanistan in August 2021. What began as a solo effort to assist a few families has blossomed into a robust organization supporting over 155 Afghan families in Fort Worth, Texas.
