Our Story

Amp Athletics, established in 2021, emerged from a passionate group of parents dedicated to cheerleading in the North Metro area. This journey began with the formation of a booster club for a high school competition cheerleading team in Coon Rapids. Over the years, the commitment to the sport led to the creation of an independent Competition Cheer Spirit Booster club in 2016, culminating in the launch of Amp Athletics in 2020. With the opening of a dedicated cheerleading gym facility, Amp Athletics became a 501(c)(3) organization in late 2021, focused on delivering high-quality cheerleading programs at affordable prices.

Our Impact

Amp Athletics is committed to providing an All Star Cheerleading experience comparable to private gyms, ensuring equal opportunities for all youth. By absorbing costs through donations and fundraising, the organization expands access to cheerleading in the community.
