Founded in 2009, Amikas emerged from a dedicated group of advocates committed to protecting the most vulnerable populations in San Diego—women, children, and female veterans. With a vision of safe housing for every woman and child, Amikas works tirelessly to prevent homelessness through innovative housing solutions and advocacy.
