Our Story
The American Psychosocial Oncology Society (APOS) was established in 1986 to unite professionals dedicated to the psychological, behavioral, and social aspects of cancer care. Over the years, APOS has expanded its mission to include a diverse network of professionals from various disciplines, all focused on psychosocial oncology. Each year, over five hundred experts gather at the APOS annual conference to share groundbreaking research and clinical innovations, while the Psycho-Oncology journal serves as a vital resource for publishing relevant studies.
