Our Story

Born from the logistics challenges of Hurricane Katrina in 2005, the American Logistics Aid Network (ALAN) is dedicated to providing essential supply chain assistance to humanitarian organizations during disasters. By engaging the logistics community, ALAN facilitates the donation of transportation, warehousing, and expertise to maximize the impact of relief efforts.

Impact

ALAN has supported over 100 humanitarian organizations in responding to more than 60 disasters, including the 2010 Haiti earthquake and the COVID-19 pandemic. Notably, the organization delivered 130,000 bottles of water to residents in Jackson, MS, showcasing its commitment to alleviating suffering.
