Our Story

The American Literacy Corporation (ALC) was founded in January 2001 to design and implement supplemental literacy programs. ALC focuses on promoting the importance of learning to elementary school students, primarily those in grades K-5. Since its inception, ALC has read to over 250,000 children, collaborating with various institutions to enhance educational development.

Our Impact

ALC has successfully read to over 250,000 children, combating illiteracy at an early age. This initiative significantly reduces the rate of reading failure in early grades through targeted intervention and support.
