The American Indian Opportunities Industrialization Center (AIOIC) was founded in 1979 to combat the education and employment disparities faced by American Indians in south Minneapolis. Established by the American Indian Movement, AIOIC has become a beacon of hope, building a workforce of over 25,000 individuals from the Twin Cities and tribal nations nationwide.
