Founded by Robert L. Bennett and John C. Rainer, this organization has evolved into a premier national resource for Native scholars, advocating for their success and visibility in higher education.

With approximately $11 million awarded in scholarships, the Native Forward Scholars Fund has supported over 1,300 Native scholars from 193 tribes across 48 states. The organization boasts a remarkable 69% graduation rate for undergraduates and an impressive 95% for graduate students, significantly higher than national averages.
