Our Story

Founded by Tom and Deborrah Willard, the Foundation for Affordable Housing has dedicated nearly 30 years to creating safe, comfortable, and high-quality affordable homes. The organization focuses on the construction, acquisition, and operation of low-income, special needs, and senior housing, easing the burden on housing authorities while providing community enrichment services through the Embrace Foundation.

With a significant impact on affordable housing availability, the Foundation has housed over 60,000 people across 127 family communities and 60 senior communities.
