Our Story

In 2003, Yad Leah was founded by Karen Thaler, an American expat in Israel, who was inspired to help those in need after receiving clothing from a friend. What started with a few suitcases has transformed into a large-scale operation, sending full shipping containers of clothing to nearly 30 communities across Israel.

Impact

Yad Leah provides $5 million worth of clothing annually, impacting thousands of families. Each year, 360,000 items of clothing are distributed, ensuring that families in 23 different communities can dress with dignity and confidence.
