Our Story

Rabbi Bleich arrived in Kiev in 1989 with a vision to revitalize Jewish life in the former Soviet Union. After a decade of dedicated work, he established the Jewish Confederation of Ukraine, now known as U.J.C.E.E.A. This organization addresses the existential threat of assimilation faced by European Jewry, providing essential community and human service programs that reconnect individuals with their Jewish heritage.

U.J.C.E.E.A. has made significant strides in supporting the Jewish community across Ukraine. Through engaging programs and services, the organization fosters trust, strengthens Jewish identity, and promotes education, all while combating anti-Semitism.
