American Friends of Journey House Actions Rwanda (AFJHAR) was founded to uplift vulnerable communities in Rwanda, particularly in the wake of the 1994 genocide. Inspired by Mr. Rogers Kimuli's journey from malnutrition to empowerment, AFJHAR supports Journey House Actions (JHA) in delivering essential programs focused on education, women's empowerment, workforce development, and health improvement.

Making a Lasting Impact

AFJHAR's initiatives have significantly improved the lives of individuals and the Gashora community. Over 600 pre-kindergarten children benefit from early childhood development centers, while clean water initiatives have enhanced sanitation and hygiene for more than 10,000 residents.
