Our Story

Founded in 1994, American Friends of Georgia was established by compassionate Americans aiming to support Georgia during its challenging post-Soviet transition. AFG has since dedicated itself to enhancing the lives of the most vulnerable populations in Georgia.

Impact

With over 110 projects funded, AFG has contributed more than $3.4 million in direct funding and $4.4 million in in-kind donations, positively impacting at least 16,000 lives.
