American Family Housing

Our Story

Established in 1985, American Family Housing began as a single-family home in Santa Ana and has grown to operate over 60 residential properties in Los Angeles and Orange counties. AFH provides a continuum of housing and services to support homeless and low-income families and adults, helping them secure stable homes and become active community members.

Impact

AFH serves approximately 2,300 adults and children annually, providing affordable housing, supportive housing, and bridge housing programs. More than 95% of households that signed a lease while homeless remain in their homes one year later, demonstrating the effectiveness of AFH's comprehensive approach to housing.
