Our Story

The American Civil Liberties Union of Mississippi, founded in 1969, emerged from the Civil Rights Movement and the advocacy for women's rights. Established by dedicated individuals from Delta Ministries and the Unitarian Universalist Church of Jackson, the organization has tirelessly worked to address social justice issues across the state.
