Our Story

The American Civil Liberties Union of Kentucky was founded sixty years ago to combat racial discrimination during the Jim Crow era. Governed by a dedicated Board of Directors and supported by a network of volunteers, the organization is committed to defending the rights guaranteed by the U.S. and Kentucky Constitutions.
